Special Story Time with Local Authors

Join us on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 beginning at 10:30am at the Watertown Library when we welcome local authors Roberto & Kathryn Mucciacciaro who will share their new children's book Dreams Need Time to Grow.

This heartwarming children's story follows Giuliana, a young girl who feels disheartened when her dream of growing a garden doesn’t seem to come true. Despite her efforts planting tomato seeds, braving the rain, and enduring setbacks like lost seeds and overheated afternoons, nothing appears to go right. But with a gentle nudge from her parents, Giuliana discovers that her dream has quietly been growing all along.

The story beautifully illustrates the idea that dreams, like seeds, need time, patience, and even adversity to flourish. It’s a tender metaphor for resilience, showing children that setbacks are often part of the journey toward something wonderful.
