Join us on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at the Watertown Library when we welcome Watertown author, Dr. Charles McNair, who will be discussing his latest novel, The Shape of Fear, the final book in the trilogy which follows the Davis, Aiken, and Hanover families through three wars.

Based on true events, this third book takes place during the fall/winter of 1944-1945 in the Huertgan Forest on the Belgium/German border. Fought in brutal conditions by citizen soldiers, the story develops along dual lines involving the infantry, air forces, armor and medical corps of the American and German armies during this six month battle.

Familiarity with the novel is not necessary in order to participate. A Question & Answer session will be included.
