The Watertown Library Assocition provides informative, interactive programs and events, both in-person and virtual, across varied disciplines and interests. Whether it's children's story time, author talks, mystery book club discussions, seasonal crafting kits, job search programs, technology instruction, movie matinees, grab-n-go bags or more - find out what's on at the library.


Story Time With Ellen Lee

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 and Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am and enjoy fun stories and crafts with Ellen Lee of WHOOO Loves A Great Book?.

Children Ages 3-6. Registration is required.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is a gentle yoga program incorporating the use of chairs. Instructor Frances Harmeyer is certified in chair yoga and holds a degree in Occupational Therapy.

Registration is required.

Xen's Creepy Crawly Critters

Join us at the Watertown Library on Thursday, September 19, 2024 starting at 4:00pm to meet and learn about snakes, lizards, a turtle, a tortoise, and a frog!

Children age 5+. Registration required.

The Connecticut 169 Club

Join us on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at the Watertown Library when we welcome author and historian Marty Podskoch for a book talk and signing on his latest book: The Connecticut 169 Club: Your Passport and Guide to Exploring Connecticut, which encourages travelers to visit all of the towns and villages of our beautiful and unique state.

Story Time with Mrs. Piccolo

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am for story time and special craft with Mrs. Piccolo! - children age 3 - 6.

Story Time with Mrs. Butterly

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am for a story time and crafts with Dinah Butterly! - children age 3 - 6.

Registration is suggested.

Card & Bookmark Stamping

Join us at the Watertown Library on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 3:30pm to 4:30pm to create your own Halloween or Fall themed cards and bookmarks.

Children age 7-11 yrs. Registration required.

Story Time with Mrs. Zipoli

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 10:30am to 11:30am for story time and craft with Mrs. Zipoli!

Space is limited, registration is suggested.

Children age 3 - 6.

Paranormal Investigator Joe Franke

Join us at the Watertown Library on Thursday, October 24, 2024 beginning at 6:00pm for an evening with Joe Franke, Chairman of the Board & Chief Investigations Officer for the Warren Legacy Foundation as he shares firsthand experiences from his decades of work.

This program is for adults age 18 and older. Registration is required.

Holiday Hours

The Watertown Library Association will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2024 for Columbus Day.

Mystery Book Club

The Mystery Book Club meets at 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month via Zoom or in person at Watertown Library.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The Watertown Library Association is participating in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program!
