Story Time With Ellen Lee

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesdays - July 8th, July 29th and/or August 5th from 10:30am to 11:30am and enjoy fun stories and crafts with Ellen Lee of WHOOO Loves A Great Book?.

Space is limited. Registration is required.

For children Ages 3-6.

CT Science Center Sail Cars

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 starting at 1:00pm to build a Sail Car with the Connecticut Science Center - a STEM based program full of blustery, engineering fun!

Space is limited, registration is required.

Children ages ages 8-11.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is a gentle yoga program incorporating the use of chairs. Instructor Frances Harmeyer is certified in chair yoga and holds a degree in Occupational Therapy.

Registration is required.

Story Time with Mrs. Zipoli

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am for story time and craft with Mrs. Zipoli!

Magic with Matt Matthews

Join magician Matt Matthews for a magical adventure that will astound and delight - Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 4:30pm to 5:30pm at the Watertown Library.

For families (content geared towards children ages 5-12).

Registration is required.

Author Chat - Dr. Charles McNair

Join us on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at the Watertown Library when we welcome Watertown author, Dr. Charles McNair, who will be discussing his latest novel, The Shape of Fear, the final book in the trilogy which follows the Davis, Aiken, and Hanover families through three wars.

Registration is suggested.

Summer Storytime & Crafts

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am for a fun filled Summer Story Time & Craft.

For children Ages 3-6.

Harold Sings His Way Home

Remember Harold and his purple crayon? Join teacher, performer and music specialist, Nancy Hershatter, for this musical version of a beloved tale on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 11:00am to 11:45am at the Watertown Library.

Children age 3-7. Registration is required.

Create Polymer Clay Dragon Pals

Join award-winning polymer clay artist, Deb Jaffe on Thursday, July 31, 2025 beginning at 3:00pm at the Watertown Library and create a one-of-a-kind dragon pal.

Children ages 6-12.

Learn to Play the Ukulele

Join us at the Watertown Library on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 1:00pm to 1:45pm and learn the fundamentals of ukulele playing!

Story Time with Mrs. Butterly

Join us at the Watertown Library on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 10:30am to 11:30am for a story and crafts with Dinah Butterly! - children age 3 - 6.

Summer Hours

Watertown Library Association Summer Hours* begin May 26, 2025 and run through September 1, 2025.

*Closed on Saturdays during the Summer - Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The Watertown Library Association will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025 for Independence Day.

Mystery Book Club

The Mystery Book Club meets at 7:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month via Zoom or in person at Watertown Library.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The Watertown Library Association is participating in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program!

No Contact Curbside Service is available for our patrons with a valid Watertown Library Card.
